In May 1997, Dr. Florentino R. Romero re-opened Merrick Blvd Animal Hospital after years of being not fully operational for 12 years. Dr. Romero was delighted to have the opportunity to re-open the hospital and provide a much- needed service to the community. Prior to practicing in New York, he operated several small and large animal practices for over two decades in the Philippines. He brings with him his unique expertise and extensive experience in small and large animals. Dr. Romero works tirelessly to provide utmost care for your loved pet and continuously improve the hospital’s services to best serve our clients.
